WSQ Bartender Training Programme (April Intake)
The April intake for WSQ bartender Training is scheduled to start on 2 April 2012.

The 3 modules included in this training programme are:
     1. Interact with Guests
     2. Prepare Non-Alcoholic Beverages
     3. Prepare & Serve Alcoholic Beverages

These 3 modules will be conducted for a total duration of 44-hour and 20-min from 2 to 16 April 2012 certified by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA).

Successful participants will receive WSQ certifications of the 3 modules and a Certificate in Bartending issued by IBA (International Bartenders Association) and ABSS.

WSQ Bartender Training Programme (Jan Intake)
The January intake for WSQ bartender Training is scheduled to start on 30 Jan 2012.

The 3 modules included in this training programme are:
     1. Interact with Guests
     2. Prepare Non-Alcoholic Beverages
     3. Prepare & Serve Alcoholic Beverages

These 3 modules will be conducted for a total duration of 44-hour and 20-min from 8 to 29 Nov 2011 certified by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA).

Successful participants will receive WSQ certifications of the 3 modules and a Certificate in Bartending issued by IBA (International Bartenders Association) and ABSS.

The Elite Bartenders Course JWC - Far East 2012
The International Bartenders Association is pleased to present the 9 days Elite Bartenders Course JWC - Far East 2012.
Course Objective
The objectives of the course are to:
  • To create awareness inherent to the use and abuse of alcoholic beverages.
  • To provide participants with a working knowledge of the wines, spirits and liqueurs available on the international market, including their place of production and quality factors.
  • To differentiate and discuss all types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages commonly marketed in bars
  • To provide participants with adequate skills to prepare, mix and serve the different types of beverages
  • To allow the participants to experiment with new cocktail recipes
  • To acquaint the participants with the Guidelines for Bartending Working Procedures
  • To train the participants in Bar Control Procedures
  • To train the participants in costing and pricing a beverage list
  • To discuss and implement Bar merchandising ideas.
  • To train the participants in work scheduling


Course Structure
This is a 9-days course conducted from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 7pm daily.

WSQ Advance Beverage Program 1

The February intake for WSQ Advanced Beverages Programme 1 is scheduled to start on 27 Feb 2012.

The 3 modules included in this training programme are:
1. Provide Wine Service
2. Interact With and Serve Food and Beverage to Guests
3. Provide Specialty Coffee Service

The 3 modules will be conducted for a total duration of 65 hours from 27 February to 14 March 2012 certified by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA).

These 3 modules would be conducted in 44-hour and 20 min from 8 to 29 Nov 2011 certified by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA).
